Just a quick message for those new members who were not on the old site.
If you would like a witty introduction to the membership, please fill in a profile and perhaps drop me a few things about yourself.

Cheers

Not really new, but I am new to this site - having found it!
I used to work at ASF and 208 at Honkingdown. 1980-81 and ASF at Laarparts, 1981-83. Did 4 years on Buccs and really enjoyed every minute of it. Best fixed wing work I did in the Mob.
I was not a fixed-wing freak until I got to buccs, and I was not a Sumpy until I got my A&C Licences in 1989, leaving the RAF in 1999! 14 Yrs on Heli's and 10 on Planks.
Having moved into QA in the RAF I found similar Jobs in civvy strasse in Commuter and Charter Airlines - I am now QA Manager for a Police Aviation unit.
I live in Norfolk and work away from home during the week.

I would like to meet/chat/drink with anyone that knew me from my time in the Mob - not necessarily the Bucc years.

If you think you might know me - send me a PM.

Hello All, new to the site today. I was on sweet 16 from 74 to 77 at Laarbruch. Still in contact with a couple of old friends from those days. Now working at Warton with the Civil Service having left the RAF in 97. :D Pete Smalley

Hello again.
Paul Kerrison here dropping by for the first time in years. Nice shiny new layout Arni, wouldn't your time be better spent thinking up new ways to make your cars go faster?
For those that don't know me I was on 16 from 79 to 82 and if you take a look here:

http://www.buccaneer.org.uk/16sqdn/gall ... m=24&pos=1

I'm the one with the rabbit ears courtesy of Clem :x
I left the mob in 1994 after managing to break my leg in five places and ended up doing the same job for a while as a civvie at RAF Shawbury. Nowadays I keep the wolves from the door as a Training Officer for Rolls-Royce in Production Assembly, where we make the big stuff:

Good to see the old faces again, think I'll hang around if you'll have me!
